Christopher Moyer was born in Perkasie, Pennsylvania on October 18, 1968. He graduated from Albright College (B.S., 1990); Ohio Northern School of Law (J.D., 1993) and was admitted to the bar of Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 1994. He is was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1996 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
While in law school, Christopher was the Assistant Staff Editor of the Law Review and he was also a member of The Moot Court Board of Advocates.
CHRISTOPHER MOYER HAS BEEN SELECTED AS A PENNSYLVANIA SUPER LAWYER
Master Weinstein Schatz Moyer, P.C. is proud to announce that Christopher Moyer has been selected a 2011 Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.
The Super Lawyer selection process involves a rigorous, multiphase rating process. Peer nominations and evaluations are combined with third party research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel.
Every year top attorneys in Pennsylvania are selected as Super Lawyers. Candidates are divided into more than 60 practice areas, and are evaluated by a blue-ribbon panel of preeminent peers in their practice area. Super Lawyers are evaluated on a wide variety of factors, including verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background and any other outstanding achievements. Only 5% of all Pennsylvania lawyers are selected as Super Lawyers.
In addition, Mr. Moyer is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Established in 1993, the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. There are over 4000 members throughout the country. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.
The quality of our membership is very impressive and includes many of the top trial lawyers in the country. Many of the Forum members have achieved numerous million and multi-million dollar results (several members have won billion dollar cases). Practice areas include most areas of litigation, including: major personal injury, products liability, malpractice, construction, environmental, employment, insurance and business litigation. The common fact is that each of the members have each demonstrated, in an objective and tangible way, their ability to accomplish superior results in complex cases. Certification by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum provides recognition of such accomplishment and a national network of experienced colleagues for information exchange, assistance and professional referral.
In early 2009, Christopher spoke at the Temple University School of Dentistry on the issue of Avoiding Dental Malpractice.
Despite his success in handling cases involving catastrophic damages, Christopher will handle any case that takes him into the courtroom.
