If you or your family member are injured as result of product which you think may be defective it is extremely important that you save and retain the product so that it may be examined by an expert. If the product is thrown away or lost it may make it difficult to prove your case.
Responsibility for products originates with the company that designed, made or sold the product. Under Pennsylvania law all products must meet certain safety requirements. If the product does not meet those requirements all persons or companies in the "chain of distribution" may be held liable.
